Alter Ego made an appearance at the February event: Tombstone, put on by DHS! It was a great game minus the cold. And even though our side lost the game we came home with a Sportsmanship award, awarded to Brent “Woodrow” Norwood, and a MVT! Great job team and thank you so much to Darkhorse scenarios, for putting on this event! 
Please help me in congratulating Junior who is the first Alter Ego Young Gun Scholarship recipient for the 2010 year!!

Alter Ego went out to Paintball Zone North just moments after most people were done cleaning up from christmas dinner for the second installment of the DHS Game Reindeer Revolt 2: The search for Rudy!
It was a GREAT game! Everyone was dressed up, presents were given out, there was a base decorating contest, and of course a paintball game. Alter Ego was in the command box once again with Melissa “Bunny” Robbins driving the sleigh. Playing the Reindeer commander she led us to one hell of a hard faught victory! Infact it came down to final battle and them the Reindeer shut out the elves 125 – 0. AWESOME times!

We hope you all have a safe, warm, fun, and happy holiday! 2009 has been full of up’s and down’s for us, but never the less, we had a great year, brought on some WONDERFUL sponsors, and had fun doing it! We wont be on here much till after the new year, but rest assured, 2010 has a LOT in store for our loyal readers! BUT DONT FORGET! This Sunday is Reindeer Revolt 2! Make sure you’re signed up on the Reindeer side! You dont want to get kicked by a deer! Trust me! 
That’s right! At the very last minute…and I mean VERY last minute….we were given command of the side of the BFR at the Darkhorse Scenario “Guns over Texas” and when Haskel said “Come and take it” We did! And Alter Ego got their 4th command win and their FIRST EVER MOFO!!!
Melissa “Bunny” Robbins was tossed head first (as a rookie commander) with the Pain Train (that’s us) at her side. We lashed the troops together, put in work, and got the deed done! The weather was great! The paint was awesome! Thanks to Tank, and Tank’s Paintball for supplying the AWESOME Valken paintball. Thanks to Sarge at Tacticalpaintball for letting Bobby put on a great game there, and a HUGE thanks to Bobby and Karey for having an awesome game at such a great field to play on.
I’d also like to announce that we raised $75 dollars after expenses for the Alter Ego “Young-Gun” Scholarship.
Alter Ego will be out at Tactical Paintball in December for the “We Were Solders” event with the tech booth, Hot chocolate, and some other goodie sales so be sure to come see us! We will also be kicking off our annual Toys for Tots Raffle! We’ll be giving away one PAID IN FULL comp to a future Tactical Paintball event. Tickets cost you….a toy! Bring in a (new) toy to the We Were Solders game and drop it off at the AlterEgo booth and you’ll recieve an entry into the raffle. Toys must be valued at $10.00 or more. We will stop taking entries Sunday at the end of the game. The drawing will take place at awards sunday!
Alter Ego traveled to Harwood TX to play in the Tactical Paintball scenario, Back to Batan. It was a small 12 hour game that packed over 250 players and 9 inches of RAIN!!
The team was there in a command role, serving as the Japanese XO for “Woodman” of our good friends at Team Blacklist who was the Jap commander. It was hard faught….wet…and when I say wet I mean:
That was our BASE!
Ya…so needless to say it was a little…sloppy. We went out and kicked major ass as a team, enought to earn a Most Valuable Team award, but not enough to secure the win for our commander.
Our next venture is in a few weeks. We’re going back to Harwood but for another promoter! It’s the Darkhorse Scenario Production “Guns Over Texas!” See you there!
Alter Ego went out to Paintball Zone north to play in Darkhorse Scenarios latest event based on the Sci-Fi series Firefly. We played on the side of the Reavers. Our goal was to acquire enough “chemical” to be able to synthesize it. On the other side of the ball was the Independents. Their goal was to prevent us from recovering the chemical and in turn destroy enough of it to prevent us from achieving our goal.
We played a great game and in the end we came out with the win! Alter Ego represented well by earning the Most Valuable Team award, and Ryan “JustJones” Jones, earned the Most Valuable Play award!
Pictures of the event are slowly but surely being uploaded to the photo album section. There were about 5 photographers there so they are trickeling in a little at a time.
Next week, we head out to Harwood, Texas to play the Tactical Paintball event, Back to Batan where we’ll be taking the role of the Japanese as they defend their camp from US Special Forces!
